Cancellation Policy

Renter Cancellations

Renters may cancel their booking according to the following refund schedule:

  • More than 48 hours before pickup: 100% refund
  • 24-48 hours before pickup: 50% refund
  • Less than 24 hours before pickup: No refund

How to Cancel

  1. Go to "My Trips" in your dashboard
  2. Select the booking you wish to cancel
  3. Click "Cancel Booking"
  4. Confirm cancellation and provide a reason

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days and returned to your original payment method.

Owner Cancellations

Car owners may decline or cancel bookings, but frequent cancellations may impact your listing visibility and reputation.

Before Acceptance

You may decline booking requests without penalty. Renters will receive a full refund immediately.

After Acceptance

  • Cancellations should only occur in emergencies
  • Renter receives 100% refund
  • Excessive cancellations may result in listing suspension

Exceptions

The following situations may qualify for full refunds outside the standard policy:

  • Owner no-show at pickup time
  • Car significantly not as described
  • Safety issues with the vehicle
  • Platform technical errors

Contact support to request a policy exception with supporting evidence.

No-Shows

Renter No-Show

If a renter fails to show up within 1 hour of agreed pickup time without communication, the owner may cancel without refund.

Owner No-Show

If an owner fails to show up within 1 hour of agreed pickup time, the renter receives a full refund and may file a complaint.

Trip Modifications

Date or time changes are subject to owner approval and availability. If the owner cannot accommodate changes, standard cancellation policies apply.
