1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Drivvie ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

To use Drivvie, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Possess a valid driver's license (for renters)
  • Own or have authorization to list a vehicle (for car owners)
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Car Rentals

For Renters:

  • You must have a valid driver's license and meet the minimum age requirement
  • You are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft during the rental period
  • You must return the vehicle in the same condition as received
  • You must comply with all traffic laws and regulations
  • You may not sublease or lend the vehicle to others

For Car Owners:

  • You must own the vehicle or have explicit permission to rent it out
  • Your vehicle must be properly registered, insured, and roadworthy
  • You must provide accurate information about your vehicle
  • You may approve or decline rental requests at your discretion

5. Payments and Fees

Drivvie charges a 15% service fee on all transactions. Payments are processed through Paystack. All prices are listed in Nigerian Naira (₦). Owners receive payouts within 1-3 business days after trip completion.

6. Insurance

All trips booked through Drivvie are covered by comprehensive insurance up to ₦10 million. However, this does not replace your personal auto insurance. You should maintain your own insurance coverage as required by law.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies vary by listing. Please review the cancellation policy before booking. Refunds are processed according to the cancellation policy and timing of cancellation.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Drivvie to:

  • Engage in illegal activities
  • Transport illegal goods or substances
  • Use vehicles for commercial purposes without explicit permission
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Post false or misleading information

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Drivvie and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

10. Limitation of Liability

Drivvie is a platform that connects car owners and renters. We are not responsible for the actions of users or the condition of vehicles listed on the Platform. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the use of Drivvie will be resolved through arbitration in accordance with Nigerian law. The venue for arbitration shall be Lagos, Nigeria.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
